Terms of Service

The service

Picette hosts client photo galleries for photographers. You upload photographs, we store and deliver them to the people you share links with, with the features described on this site.

Your content

Your photographs are yours. We claim no ownership and use them only to operate the service — storing, resizing for web viewing, and rendering the films your clients request. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, including any music your clients add to slideshow films.

Your account

Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Picette. Don't use the service to host unlawful content, and don't abuse, probe, or overload the systems.

Payment

Paid plans bill through Stripe, monthly or yearly, until cancelled. Cancel anytime — your galleries stay live; if you're over your new plan's storage, new uploads pause and nothing is deleted.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the account page, which permanently removes your galleries and files. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where practical.

Warranty & liability

Picette is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it fast and available, but we can't promise uninterrupted service, and our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months. Keep your own originals — a delivery service is not an archive.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll note it here with a new date.
