What we collect

Photographers: your email address, a hashed password, your galleries and photographs, and billing status. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see card numbers.

Gallery visitors: if a photographer turns on "email to view," we store that email and the visitor's activity in that gallery (views, favorites, notes, downloads) and show it to the photographer who invited them. That attribution is the product.

What we don't do

We don't sell data. We don't run ads. We don't use your photographs for anything except delivering them. There is no cross-site tracking on Picette.

Where things live

Photographs are stored with Cloudflare R2; the database runs on our own server; emails send through Resend. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Deletion

Deleting a photo, a gallery, or your whole account removes the underlying files from storage — not just the listing. Account deletion is immediate and permanent.
