About
Ours was at a trailhead at six in the morning, with a friend officiating and a thermos of coffee. It remains the best day I've had. A year later I photographed my last two-hundred-guest wedding and haven't looked back.
I now photograph forty or so elopements a year, mostly along the Pacific coast and in the mountains behind it, and a handful further off: Iceland, Scotland, the Dolomites, wherever you're going. I'm comfortable on a trail before sunrise and I don't mind getting wet.
I shoot one camera, two lenses, and pack them in a bag small enough for a carry-on. The photographs are quiet and honest. So is the process.
