Wedding photographs made slowly, for people who will still be looking at them in forty years.

The approach
I arrive early, learn everyone's names, and then get out of the way. The photographs that matter most are usually the ones nobody planned: your father fixing his tie in a mirror, the two of you laughing at a toast that went slightly wrong.
I'll direct when it helps and disappear when it doesn't. The result is a set of pictures that feel like the day, not like a photoshoot that happened to be on the same date.
About
I photograph around twenty weddings a year, so each one gets the attention it deserves before, during and long after the day.
Based in Hudson, New York. Happy to travel, and happy to say so.
Kind words
We were nervous about being photographed all day. By the ceremony we'd forgotten she was there, and when the gallery arrived we realised she had seen all of it.
Margaux & Tom, Rhinebeck
Our parents have the album on the coffee table. It has not moved in a year. That is the review.
Priya & Daniel, Brooklyn
She sent us a preview the morning after the wedding. We cried at breakfast, in a good way.
Hannah & Wes, Kennebunkport
Tell me about the day you're planning.
I take on a small number of weddings each year, and dates go early for May through October.
